SpareFaber Limited Seller Warranty

SpareFaber Limited Seller Warranty

Effective date: 22 July 2026

This Limited Seller Warranty is provided by Ajman Factories Equipment Trading, operating through SpareFaber.com (“SpareFaber”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

SpareFaber supplies industrial automation components, machine spare parts, surplus products, new-old-stock products, obsolete products, refurbished products and used products.

This warranty is an independent seller warranty provided solely by SpareFaber. It is not a warranty issued, sponsored or administered by the original manufacturer.

1. Products covered

This warranty applies only where the applicable product page or written quotation expressly states that the product includes a:

SpareFaber Limited Seller Warranty

The duration shown on the individual product page, quotation or order confirmation forms part of this warranty.

Unless another duration is expressly stated, covered products carry a:

One-year Limited Seller Warranty from the date of delivery

Products expressly sold as “as-is,” “for parts,” “repair required,” “untested,” or “no warranty” are not covered by this warranty, except where rights or remedies cannot legally be excluded.

2. What this warranty covers

During the applicable warranty period, SpareFaber warrants that the covered product will:

  • Substantially correspond with the identification and condition stated on its product page or written quotation.
  • Be free from undisclosed defects that prevent it from performing its ordinary intended industrial function.
  • Operate under normal conditions when correctly installed, configured, powered and used within the manufacturer’s published specifications.

This warranty applies to the product supplied by SpareFaber and does not extend to the customer’s complete machine, process, installation or control system.

3. Product condition

Products may be offered as:

  • Factory new
  • New surplus
  • New old stock
  • Open-box surplus
  • Refurbished
  • Used and tested
  • Used and untested
  • For parts or repair

The specific condition applicable to each item is stated on its product page, quotation or invoice.

Surplus and new-old-stock products may have older date codes, production dates, hardware revisions, firmware versions, packaging or model series than products currently available through the manufacturer or its authorised distribution network.

Shelf wear, aged packaging, labels, markings or minor cosmetic imperfections that are disclosed or visible in the product photographs are not considered defects under this warranty.

4. Original manufacturer warranty

Unless expressly confirmed by SpareFaber in writing:

  • SpareFaber does not represent that the original manufacturer’s warranty is included, transferable or available.
  • SpareFaber is not responsible for obtaining warranty service from the original manufacturer.
  • Any warranty offered by SpareFaber is independent of the manufacturer and is administered solely by SpareFaber.

Manufacturer names, trademarks, logos and part numbers are used only for product identification.

5. Available remedies

When SpareFaber confirms that a valid covered defect exists, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  1. Repairing the product;
  2. Replacing it with the same product;
  3. Replacing it with a functionally equivalent product, subject to the customer’s approval; or
  4. Refunding the amount paid for the affected product.

The remedy will be determined after technical inspection and according to product availability, the nature of the defect and applicable law.

Where mandatory law gives the customer a particular remedy, those legal rights will apply.

6. What is not covered

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty does not cover failure, damage or deterioration caused by:

  • Incorrect installation, wiring or commissioning;
  • Incorrect supply voltage, polarity, frequency or signal level;
  • Electrical surge, short circuit, overload, grounding fault or external power-supply failure;
  • Incorrect parameterisation, programming, firmware loading or configuration;
  • Operation outside the manufacturer’s published limits;
  • Mechanical impact, excessive load, misalignment, vibration or improper mounting;
  • Water, moisture, condensation, corrosion, dust, chemicals, oil or contamination;
  • Improper handling, transport or storage after delivery;
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence or use for an unintended application;
  • Unauthorised disassembly, modification or attempted repair;
  • Missing, altered or removed serial numbers, identification labels or warranty markings;
  • Normal wear, consumable components, batteries, lamps, seals or similar service items;
  • Failure or incompatibility caused by another machine component, cable, drive, controller, power supply or network;
  • Cybersecurity incidents, third-party software, unsupported operating systems or communication-network changes;
  • Cosmetic or packaging conditions clearly disclosed before purchase.

7. Compatibility and application responsibility

Industrial parts can have visually similar housings while differing in voltage, interface, resolution, pinout, firmware, revision or mechanical dimensions.

Before ordering, the customer must verify:

  • Complete manufacturer part number;
  • Electrical specifications;
  • Connector and pinout;
  • Shaft and flange dimensions;
  • Communication interface;
  • Hardware and firmware revision;
  • Compatibility with the intended machine or application.

General assistance from SpareFaber does not constitute an engineering approval unless compatibility has been expressly confirmed by us in writing for the stated application.

A product that functions correctly but is incompatible with the customer’s application is not considered defective under this warranty.

8. Warranty claim procedure

To submit a warranty claim, contact SpareFaber and provide:

  • Shopify order number, invoice number or quotation reference;
  • Product manufacturer and complete part number;
  • Serial number or identification number;
  • Detailed description of the fault;
  • Photographs of the product and its labels;
  • Photographs or diagrams of the installation and wiring where relevant;
  • Supply-voltage and signal measurements where relevant;
  • Video evidence of the reported fault where reasonably possible;
  • Date on which the fault was first observed.

Please do not dismantle, modify or return the product before receiving instructions from SpareFaber.

When a return is required, SpareFaber will provide a return authorisation and return instructions.

9. Inspection and testing

Returned products may be inspected and tested to confirm:

  • The reported fault;
  • Product identification;
  • Installation or electrical damage;
  • Tampering or unauthorised repairs;
  • Compliance with the warranty conditions.

If no covered fault is found, or if the failure resulted from an excluded cause, SpareFaber may return the product to the customer and may charge reasonable testing or shipping costs after informing the customer.

10. Return shipping for warranty claims

Where a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, SpareFaber will provide or reimburse reasonable standard return transportation and will bear reasonable standard shipping costs for the repaired or replacement product, subject to applicable law.

Where no covered defect is confirmed, the customer may be responsible for return transportation, reshipment, customs clearance and reasonable inspection costs.

Do not send goods to SpareFaber without prior return authorisation.

11. International shipments, customs and taxes

Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and clearance charges originally paid to destination-country authorities are generally outside SpareFaber’s control.

Their refundability is determined by the relevant customs or tax authority. SpareFaber will provide reasonable supporting documents when required for an eligible warranty return.

12. Replacement products

A repaired or replacement product remains covered for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period, unless a longer period is required by applicable law or expressly provided by SpareFaber in writing.

Replacement products may be of the same model or a functionally equivalent model where the original item is obsolete or unavailable. We will obtain the customer’s approval before supplying a materially different substitute.

13. Industrial labour and consequential costs

Unless expressly agreed in writing, this warranty covers the supplied product only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, it does not cover:

  • Machine removal or reinstallation labour;
  • On-site engineering or travel expenses;
  • Programming or commissioning charges;
  • Production downtime;
  • Lost output, revenue, profit or contracts;
  • Damage to other machinery or components;
  • Expedited freight requested by the customer;
  • Indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses.

Nothing in this section excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Mandatory legal rights

This warranty provides contractual protection in addition to any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or replaces rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to products that are defective, unsafe, materially misdescribed or not supplied as agreed.

UAE consumer law requires providers to honour offered warranties and provides remedies concerning defective goods; therefore, keeping this mandatory-rights clause is important.
