Returns and Refunds Policy

SpareFaber supplies specialised industrial, electrical, electronic and machine components. Many products are ordered using exact manufacturer part numbers and may be obsolete, discontinued, specially sourced or configured for a particular application.

Customers must verify the part number, model, voltage, revision, dimensions, compatibility and technical requirements before ordering.

Return authorisation required

Do not return any product without first receiving written return authorisation from SpareFaber.

To request a return, contact [RETURNS EMAIL] and provide:

  • Order number
  • Product name and part number
  • Reason for the return
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging and serial-number labels
  • Description, photographs or video of any reported fault

Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to the sender.

Reporting an incorrect, damaged or defective product

Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery if:

  • The wrong item was supplied
  • The item arrived damaged
  • The quantity differs from the order
  • The product is materially different from its listing
  • The product appears defective on arrival

A claim should include photographs, video where relevant, serial numbers and a clear explanation of the issue.

Where appropriate, we may request testing information or troubleshooting details before approving a return.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for an approved return, the product must normally be:

  • In the same condition in which it was received
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • Free from damage, modification or programming
  • In its original packaging
  • Complete with accessories, manuals, certificates, seals and labels
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase
  • Returned using the approved shipping method

The serial number and identifying labels must match the product supplied by SpareFaber.

Non-returnable products

Except where the product is incorrect, materially misdescribed, damaged, defective or where applicable law requires otherwise, the following products are generally non-returnable:

  • Special-order or sourced-on-request products
  • Obsolete or discontinued products obtained specifically for the customer
  • Products marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
  • Customised, programmed, configured or modified products
  • Products manufactured or assembled to customer requirements
  • Opened sealed electronic or electrical components
  • Installed, connected, energised or commissioned products
  • Products damaged by incorrect installation or use
  • Products damaged by unsuitable voltage, wiring, environment or machinery
  • Consumables, filters, batteries, seals and similar items after opening
  • Clearance products
  • Used or refurbished products, unless they are materially different from the stated condition or covered by an expressly stated warranty
  • Products with removed, altered or damaged serial-number labels or security seals

Change-of-mind returns

Business-to-business and special-order purchases are not automatically eligible for change-of-mind returns.

A return of a correctly supplied standard-stock product may be accepted at our discretion when requested within 7 calendar days after delivery, provided the product remains unused, unopened and in resaleable condition.

Approved non-defective returns may be subject to:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Original outbound shipping costs
  • Payment-processing costs that are not recoverable
  • Inspection or testing costs
  • A restocking deduction disclosed before the return is authorised

Return shipping

Unless the return results from an error by SpareFaber or an accepted defect, the customer is responsible for return shipping and appropriate transit insurance.

The customer remains responsible for the product until it is received at the authorised return location.

Products must not be returned to the sender’s address shown on the original shipment unless we expressly confirm that address.

Inspection and testing

Returned products may be inspected and tested before a refund, replacement or credit is approved.

If testing shows that the product operates correctly or that damage resulted from installation, wiring, programming, misuse, contamination, mechanical damage or an unsuitable application, the claim may be rejected.

Reasonable inspection, testing, shipping or handling costs may be deducted where permitted and where disclosed to the customer.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify the customer whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection.

Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time.

Original shipping, customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges and other third-party costs are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted directly from our error and we expressly agree otherwise.

Replacements

Where an eligible product is incorrect, damaged or defective, we may offer:

  • Replacement with the same product
  • Replacement with an agreed equivalent
  • Repair where appropriate
  • Store credit
  • Refund

The available remedy depends on product availability, condition, warranty and applicable law.

Order cancellation

Cancellation may be requested before dispatch.

However, cancellation might not be possible after:

  • A supplier order has been placed
  • Special sourcing has begun
  • A product has been configured or programmed
  • Export documentation has been prepared
  • The shipment has been collected by the carrier

Any non-recoverable supplier, payment, configuration, shipping or cancellation costs may be deducted where permitted and disclosed.

Manufacturer warranties

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, warranty service may be subject to the manufacturer’s conditions, location restrictions and inspection procedure.

SpareFaber does not extend a manufacturer warranty beyond its original terms unless a separate written warranty is expressly provided.

Mandatory legal rights

Nothing in this policy removes or limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

UAE consumer-protection requirements may apply to transactions connected with the UAE, and mandatory laws in a buyer’s jurisdiction may also apply depending on the transaction.
