Shipping policy

SpareFaber supplies industrial automation components, machine spare parts, electrical and electronic equipment, and hard-to-find or obsolete replacement parts to customers worldwide.
SpareFaber is operated by [FULL LEGAL COMPANY NAME], located in the United Arab Emirates.
Order processing
Orders are reviewed before dispatch to confirm:
- Product availability
- Part number and specification
- Delivery address
- Export or shipping restrictions
- Payment status
Products shown as available are normally prepared for dispatch within 2 to 5 business days, unless a different lead time is shown on the product page, quotation, order confirmation or invoice.
Special-order, sourced-on-request, obsolete, discontinued, configured or refurbished products may require additional processing time. Where applicable, the estimated lead time will be communicated to the customer.
Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in the United Arab Emirates and the destination country.
Product availability
Some industrial products are limited-stock, discontinued, obsolete or sourced through specialist international supply channels.
An order confirmation does not always guarantee final availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we may:
- Offer an equivalent or compatible alternative
- Provide a revised delivery estimate
- Offer a partial shipment
- Cancel the unavailable item and issue the applicable refund
We will not substitute a product without the customer’s approval where the specification or manufacturer differs materially.
Shipping destinations
We ship to most international destinations, subject to:
- Courier availability
- Export restrictions
- Import restrictions
- Sanctions or trade-control requirements
- Product size, weight or classification
- Delivery-service availability at the destination
We may decline or cancel an order that cannot legally or practically be shipped to the provided destination.
Shipping methods
Orders may be shipped using international courier, postal, freight or specialist logistics services.
The carrier may include DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex or another suitable logistics provider. Carrier selection depends on destination, product type, shipment value, weight and service availability.
Orders may be dispatched from our UAE location or another disclosed fulfilment or sourcing location.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated or quoted based on:
- Destination
- Package dimensions and weight
- Product value
- Courier service
- Insurance requirements
- Dangerous-goods or special-handling requirements
Where Shopify checkout cannot calculate an accurate shipping cost for an unusually large, heavy, valuable or restricted product, we may contact the customer before dispatch to confirm an additional shipping charge.
No additional charge will be collected without informing the customer.
Delivery estimates
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
International delivery may be affected by:
- Customs clearance
- Import inspections
- Courier delays
- Weather
- Public holidays
- Remote-area delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Government or trade restrictions
- Events beyond our reasonable control
SpareFaber is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, carriers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, product prices and shipping charges do not include:
- Customs duties
- Import VAT or sales tax
- Brokerage charges
- Customs-clearance fees
- Storage charges
- Destination-country handling fees
- Other government or carrier charges
The recipient is responsible for complying with destination-country import requirements and for paying all applicable duties, taxes and clearance charges.
The customer or recipient will normally act as the importer of record unless a different arrangement is expressly confirmed by SpareFaber in writing.
Refusal to pay import charges does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund. Any refund for a refused or returned shipment may be reduced by outbound shipping, return shipping, customs charges, storage fees and other costs incurred.
Address accuracy
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including:
- Recipient name
- Company name where applicable
- Street and building details
- City, state or province
- Postal or ZIP code
- Country
- Telephone number
- Email address
The customer is responsible for additional costs resulting from an incorrect, incomplete or undeliverable address.
Tracking
Tracking details will be provided when available after dispatch.
Tracking activity may take some time to appear after the shipping label is created.
Split shipments
An order containing multiple products may be dispatched in separate shipments.
Where practical, we will inform the customer when an order is split. Separate tracking numbers may be issued.
Damaged shipments
Customers should inspect the external package upon delivery.
Visible damage should be noted with the courier before accepting the shipment whenever possible.
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery when an item arrives visibly damaged and provide:
- Order number
- Photographs of the outer packaging
- Photographs of the shipping label
- Photographs or video of the damaged product
- Description of the damage
This notification period assists us in filing a courier claim and does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Do not discard the packaging until the matter has been resolved.
Lost shipments
A shipment is not considered lost merely because tracking is temporarily delayed.
We will work with the carrier to investigate shipments that appear lost. Refunds or replacements for confirmed lost shipments will be handled after the carrier investigation, subject to the circumstances and applicable insurance coverage.
