The PWM-9 is a stand-alone and compact measurement tool. No PC Required.

The PWM 9 phase angle measuring unit can be connected in series between the Glas-scale/encoder and the subsequent electronics. So it's possible to check the Qualtiy of Signal by move the machine. Phase position can be displayed on an external oscilloscope.
